MVED does not send out renewal notices by postal mail as a reminder to renew each year. All MVED licenses expire on June 30th each year.
Email reminder notifications are sent out to businesses that have set up access to our Motor Vehicle Portal (MVP website). To renew via MVP or to set up an MVP account, please visit mvp.tax.utah.gov. Email reminder notifications are sent out approximately April 1st each year.

If you do not wish to renew online, then you can call our office each year after April 1st to request a renewal packet be sent to you. MVED can be reached at 801-297-2600.
